After I posted about machine-to-machine (M2M) technology, a colleague pointed me to the great infographic below. It envisions a number of ways that M2M might improve city dwellers’ lives. It also rounds up quite a few data points that show how devices, networks, mobility, businesses, consumers, Big Data, in-memory computing, the cloud and other trends are all dovetailing into this next phenomenon.
