Westafco Chooses 2X Software over Citrix products.

VALLETTA, Malta, July 24, 2014 — 2X Software, a global leader in virtual application and mobile device management solutions, today announced – in collaboration with STPL – that Westafco Nigeria has chosen 2X Remote Application Server (2X RAS) over Citrix products.

Westafco Chooses 2X Software
Westafco was using Citrix products to remotely access enterprise applications. The cost of managing the smooth running of the applications was very high. There were frequent downtimes that impacted business users’ efficiency and resulted in losses. Getting a qualified resource to manage the complexity of the Citrix solution was very costly.
Westafco approached STPL Global for a better solution with lower IT infrastructure resource consumption, reduced cost of deployment, and ease of maintenance and management. STPL Global analysed the situation and did a POC (proof of concept test) with 2X RAS in the existing setup. Westafco was impressed by the ease of use of 2X RAS and decided immediately to migrate from Citrix to 2X Software.
