berbasis di Oxfordshire menetapkan harga US$300 juta (Rp 2,7 triliun) pada
Apax Partner yang membeli sebagian besar saham perusahaan yang didirikan
25 tahun lalu itu.Jan Hruska dan Peter Lammer mendirikan Sophos tahun 1985 setelah pertemuan
mereka saat menjadi siswa teknik di Oxford University. Mereka menjual
sebagian besar dari kombinasi 60% saham perusahaan dalam sebuah
kesepakatan yang diumumkan Selasa (4/5).Kantor pusat Sophos berada di Abingdon namun berkompetisi dengan pesaing
besar Symantec dan McAfee dari AS dalam menjual software penjaga komputer
dari serangan yang membahayakan keamanan seperti hacker, virus dan spam.Perusahaan telah berbicara pada bank soal pengumuman penawaran saham
